Hey, just picked one up the other day at walmart on clearance for $30.

Anybody else seen these things? It's a boat/hovercraft/airplane vehicle that looks like a hydroplane race boat.

Must say it's pretty cool, had it flying around the other day, had it up over 100ft high. Bout as cheap as you can get a fully functional R/C plane, and it can go over any terrain pretty fast on the ground if your not into flying it.

Except make sure your not 100ft off the ground when the battery cuts out, it doesn't glide very well...lol.

Just thought I'd share.

And yes, I'm just a big kid...lol.

Just look up 'storm launcher' or 'hydro foam' on youtube.

This is NOT the storm launcher mini. This is the full sized version I'm talking about. The mini does not have as much control as the big one.

If you buy one you need to pick up a lipo battery pack and charger kit (comes together, only $10). Unless you get the mini one which comes with the battery and charger, but does not fly as well and costs more money.

I'll try to post some pics soon.

Definition: Stock Keeping Unit. A common term for a unique numeric identifier, used most commonly in online business to refer to a specific product in inventory or in a catalog.

I stand corrected.

Jack Black: What The hell BRO!
Ron Burgundy: Ohh that was a nasty spill you had there.
Jack Black: You just thrashed my chopper BROSEPH! The only thing I ever loved. Im gonna stomp your goofy ***!

Yeah I still have one of the original with the compressed air powered piston engine in it!!! That thing was deadly for your fingers, had lots of power. I used to fly it out over the lake at the cottage and chaise after it with the boat.

I highly recommend the Storm Launcher to anyone who wants to get into R/C planes. I know it looks like a race boat, but flying is what it does best. It's good cheap fun. Just remember the mini is not as good as it does not have a controllable elevator (flap at the back that controls attitude and altitude) like the original (bigger) storm launcher has.
