How many of you have your insurance in you Parents name?
Well I am getting my license back soon (august, and no, it wasn't for speeding or DUI), and am beginning to wonder if I should just put the insurance in my parents name. It will save about $5k over a 12 month period. What do you think?

Uhm, $5k over a 12 month period?? Isn't this a no brainer?

$5,000 is a lot of money! Think of all the stuff you could buy with that!!

No, I already have the A4. Unforchanetly, I am not content with the 1.8T, so I am moving to the S4 which has a 2.7 Twin Turbo

so its in my mom's now and its 193

Been a while..

Many moons ago insurance on the 928S4 was 240 month under parents..

843 month without...

everyone knows i had the highest around with my cars and i was primary driver

3 cars 3 drivers therefore each driver assigned a car...i was assigned the mazda

now its something better

I own my car so I have the insurance in my name .... it's that simple I like knowing that car's ownership is mine ... since if you want insurance in your parents name I do believe you need ownership in your parents name as well ... I ain't ever driving around in mommy or daddy's car I drive my own car....
