How many of you have your insurance in you Parents name?
 

Well I am getting my license back soon (august, and no, it wasn't for speeding or DUI), and am beginning to wonder if I should just put the insurance in my parents name. It will save about $5k over a 12 month period. What do you think?

$5,000 is a lot of money! Think of all the stuff you could buy with that!!

No, I already have the A4. Unforchanetly, I am not content with the 1.8T, so I am moving to the S4 which has a 2.7 Twin Turbo :D

O, BTW, my A4 is for sale for $20k.

my insurance was $500 a month on my own
so its in my mom's now and its 193 :)

Many moons ago insurance on the 928S4 was 240 month under parents..

843 month without...

Now do you guys have your names on the policy? or soley under your parents name?

i wish i could put it under my mom, but she already has her own car......

everyone knows i had the highest around with my cars and i was primary driver

3 cars 3 drivers therefore each driver assigned a car...i was assigned the mazda :)

now its something better

I own my car so I have the insurance in my name .... it's that simple I like knowing that car's ownership is mine ... since if you want insurance in your parents name I do believe you need ownership in your parents name as well ... I ain't ever driving around in mommy or daddy's car I drive my own car....
