Credit Card Scam - BE VERY CAREFUL

Credit Card Scam - BE VERY CAREFUL

I got nailed by this scam last weekend and it still hurts.

Someone will approach you pretending to be your "loving wife" complete with gratuitous sex and your favourite snack. She will then subtly ask if you have a balance on your credit card. This is where you MUST answer "Yes, it's completely maxed out", otherwise she will cleverly slip it from your wallet while pretending to enjoy fondling your coconuts. Later that day, while you rest comfortably on the couch remote in hand, your card will be used to purchase half a dozen ridiculously overpriced "sale" items. The scam is so diabolical it resists any recourse by the presentation of one small gift, purchased with your card of course, special for you only. Your "loving wife" will then revert back to "moody hag" and disappear to wherever it is they go while you're in the house.

On a happy note, I really like my new Steelers hat, it keeps my head quite dry during my new part time job collecting shopping carts at Superstore.

If you see female shopping carts collectors at Superstore wearing Steelers hats, ask them if they knew this tall Asian man.

The stories of their lives.

get a crap card... even if it is canadian tire or sears....

interesting to note, canadian tire makes more money on their creditcards than they do with direct sales profits.

If you are a student and working part time it shouldn't be a problem. (I dont think working is a requirement)

Go to your bank, and tell them you want to apply for a student visa. Most the time, they will get you a visa with most likely a 500 dollar limit.

platinum cashback suckah.

i use it for work as well as personal.

when at a bar, i put it on my cc and take the cash at the table (no more going to atms - no more bank fees)

instead of debit i always use my credit card if i can

-i make payments online right into my creditcard.

i go to a bar twice in 7 days, the bill will be at least $100/night... so i'm putting 200 there, 30 on gas every week.. that's a start.

I used to do this all the time. However, I found that every time without failure the cash would be short and I'd take a $5-$15 hit.

Maybe my friends are just cheap bastards.
