Hey man, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're new to this whole car modding game. I started off with the EXACT same car, 2000 Civic Si, bone stock, silver etc etc... Yeah it burns to find out your car is alot less powerful than you first thought but w/e... Look at the bright side, you have VTEC and you can always add boost later on down the road AND you won't be getting as many speeding tickets as if you had a faster car . If you want quick results on a nicer car, here are some things I did to mine.

1.) 16 or 17" Rims - $500-700 (Go for a used setup with good tires, you'll save a lot; check classifieds or Kijiji)
2.) Suspension - If your stock struts are decent and have a year or two left, you can just get coil overs and lower the car for about $300-400 parts and labour (If you need a place p.m. me)
3.) 6000 or 8000K HID lights - $150-200 Installed
4.) Short Ram Intake - $50-100 unless you get a brand name one then expect to pay more (You may find a used one for a good price)
5.) Exhaust - $100-300 Installed
6.) Headers - $300-400 Installed
7.) Mugen Rear Lip from Pacific mall or where ever $50-100
8.) SIR or MUGEN Front Lip from Pacific mall or where ever $50-100
9.) Paint
Sideskirts/Front and Rear Lip silver $200-300
10.) Caliper Paint -
Protect brake components and looks sporty - DIY $30

Do these mods and your car will look alot nicer and feel alot sportier. HID's will give the car a more modern look. The I/H/E will squeeze a bit of power outta the D16 and keep you ahead of the other stock si's and non vtec civic's out there. Let me know if you need any advice or help along the way.

(Mods I Didn't List: I also painted my car another color, added a SIR Grill and Projector Headlights)

Lmao, that made me laugh.

But before you do anything, get an alarm. It will help waste more of theives time before they take your car away.
