over here in vancouver, one of our local raceways has organized a couple friday or saturday nights of the month for us to come out and LEGALLY race our cars.. tonight was one of the more successful nights as the previous ones have been rained out and so there hasnt been one since may, regardless.. i took some pix of a couple of the races.. (please note, i learned how to use my multi-shot mode, so i used it a lot) in additon, most of the pix are of friends, so it might not have too much variety sorry.. but the cool thing to see in the pix is the old school austin mini.. ill let the pix speak for themselves..

the next street legal drags, ill try to have more variety in my pictures, but 2nite was my night to also man the BBQ =)

cool poitns of the night, the crazy austin mini, the EF that hit 12.29 and the domestic that hit 7.68 @177mph (if i remember correctly)

Nice Pics. I like that SiR...(mine is a 2000, black with a similar spoiler). I was wondering what kind of camera were you using? It seemed like it was pretty fast. I am assuming it was digital. I have an older Cybershot and it is so slow. The last time I took it to the drags, I used the zoom and I had to anticipate where the cars would be when the picture would be taken. Needless to say, I think I deleted about 90% of the pics I took.

i have a Canon s230.. and im using it w/ a kingston CF card.. (which supposedly is faster than sandisk and lexar cards)..

does your cybershot have the multi-shot thing?
in addition, make sure your flash isnt on.. otherwise it wont work properly
