Saw 2 accidents on the way home tonight.........1st was an airport limo that couln't decide if he wanted to exit for the 400, or stay on the 401...........winner?.......divider. The cars front end was SMASHED, and the car was on top of the divider. Felt sorry for his passengers that were inthe car. OUCH!

Second one........can't remember what car it was, only that it had a relationship with the guard rail. Lost one of it's rear wheel/tires too.

When are people going to learn to SLOW DOWN IN BAD WEATHER!

Just got home from Yonge/Sheppard. Took the 401.
Man was it bad. Sliding all over the place.
Thought I was gonna spin out a couple of times. Was only doing 60km/h max.

All seasons

I got home 2 hours ago and I'd have to say I'm the stupid guy pasiing on 401 doing 70-80 km/h max. The roads are really bad out there and yet the transport's still passed me doing 80-100 km's. At least on the highway I had 4 lanes in case I spun out, which has happened before.

I know so true, people drive like maniacs on the road. I kept getting tailgatted for driving slowly and causiously. Morons, as soon as I slam the brakes they would have smashed up my rear end. Then there's more people in my neighbourhood flooring it down my street not realizing he's just spinning his tires and obviously not thinking that it's slippery and he can lose control of his car. Drivers are brain deads these days.

Got home from downtown to brampton in 50 mins... the hiways were cool. just soo many tire tracks, everyone was making their own! It's so peaceful driving late at nite with not alot of cars on the hiway, and lotsa snow makes the tires not make any noise (least mine)... but turning was pain and sometimes the tire grooves of snow would push the car in wierd directions. and i couldn't get up my driveway without shovling a bit.. haha

If you haven't seen your car or your driveway hasn't been shoulved, get your *** there. I went out to warm up to car and took a decent 10 minutes to get PACKED SNOW on the vehicle. Driving in this weather was not difficult, crappy all season. Through non shoulved corners its like drifting, you have understeer and than you counter it.

Got stuck on my street a few times when I moved my car to shovel my driveway.

Hah. Last night I lost it on Erin Mill Parkway, pulled a few 360s and decided I should go home. Almost got creamed by a Mini Van too.

I wasn't speeding, started braking for a red light and hit some black ice. Thank god it wasn't busy.

Bridgestone Blizzaks Own3z j00

This winter has been a good thanks to my blizzaks. There hasn't been a snowfall that I haven't been able to drive around or haven't felt I had control. Having Blizzaks almost makes driving in the winter almost fun. This is my first set of snow tires, and I'll never go another canadian winter without snow tires.

I find I drive faster in bad weather than in good. It's more of a challenge... never had an accident neither, thank God. smooth driver inputs, understanding of vehicle dynamics, good tires, understanding of vehicle and driver limits, and planning ahead all go a long way to safe driving. Also, reading other vehicles' "body language" is essential. I can tell you what vehicle will change lanes before they even know it Before the signal, before the shoulder check...I already know who's gonna change lanes. Keep aware out there

i almost befriended a curb (a la Octane teddy style) on the turn into my place... but i caught control and swerved into my driveway
