Lucky Star Auto PARTS ARE RIPOFFS!
My friend went their to buy a hanger bearing for his dads truck. The guy sold him the wrong part, refused to give his money back. After arguing for some time, he gave back his money minus 20%! and stated its his fault for not bring the old part to match! Wtf! Thats ****ed. Makes me so pissed. I used to work for a car dealer and sent this guy lots of business, once went their for a bolt charged me $5.00, one time i purchased an engine, turned out faulty, and accepted no responsiblity, and would not warranty it! I lost $1700.00. Guys please do not support this guy!

agreed! nothing pisses me off more than a shop eager to take your money and not caring about your future business. those shops are just rip-off artists who don't care about losing one person's business because they know they'll still be able to cheat a lot of others who don't jack about what they're getting

The problem is people will still go to these places.
Eg. NAPA has one for $40 and Lucky Star has it for $35. Now people think NAPA is ripping them off. However NAPA most likely sells one made by a very good manufacturers, excellent warranty, return policy, etc., Now Lucky Star gets there from China, with who know manufacturer, warranty pfff, return blah?
I would much rather go back to the dealership, NAPA, CARQUEST, Canadian Tire, etc before some MOM/POP SHOP for auto parts.

I heard some horrid stories about these clowns in the past. They're just money hungry. They don't care about your future business as there are others out there waiting to get ripped off by them. So, they don't care b/c they know that not everybody knows everybody through word of mouth.

hanger bearing actually support the intermediate shaft on the passenger side driveshaft. its sold as an assembly. Anyways seems like my friends learned his lesson, and would rather pay more, get warranty and buy from someone that respects your business and treats you like a somebody. I really wonder how these guys stay in business. They lost me permanently as a customer, becuz I simply cant trust them. Plus there and so many other outlets out there, just make sure the discuss the warranty and return policies before leaving the store, and get things in writing if needed.
