i would say your 99% of the time at fault, unless there was a witness who can explain what really happened.

well let say, if some car is backing out of their driveway and half way on the road, but it happened so fast while you were approaching at that point, where hitting his back is unavoidable it will be his fault, because he is entering the road and you are going straight.

I would believe the argument be that you are travelling forward, and your vision should be documenting every conditions outside the windshield at all times. That's why we are advised to travel at a safe distance, so we have enough time to react.

Now is a dead body drops from the sky, lands on your windshield and covers your vision causing you hit someone from behind, that's another story.

True^^^^

Thats what i got, when a stupid maniac driver of a friends friend hit my rear end back in highschool, i got pawned from my own insurance company, and was put at fault. I was reversing out of a driveway, the idiot was street racing with his lights off in a neighbourhood with a slight bend.He rammed my rear end splitting my car with 4 passengers in my car, luckly no one got hurt.

he probably got saved because he was in the police acadamy, hope he died with cocain addiction, that he had.lol

actually if the police academy is a factor in deciding whos at fault its more likely to negate his status with the court

yes, i agree, i should have been more clear, he knew how the law works, so he made up a story before hand, told me to settle it in person and that i pay him $2000 for his air bags,(so both our insurance don't go up) i disagreed so he told me to think about it over 3 days, in the mean while he contacted his insurance company saying some drunk kid reversed out and was on the wrong side of the road and reversed into me (he went back the day after the accident to map out the skid marks and make a good story)

must have had training to investigate road accidents, and he tried his best to make me pay the $2000, as i was about to, my 6th sense just kicked in i felt this guy was getting me fuked, so i call my insurance company and find out there was a claim against me almost 4 days ago, so i got royally screwed, also because that guy mentioned i tried to bribe him with $2000 with vehicle, when the damage was greater than $5000, which is supposed to be reported.

plus for some reason the jerk off insurance claim rep kept talking friendly trying to get me to say yes i was drinking, lol till i got pissed and said buddy i'm not paying you to efin back some other a55hole up you work for my insurance company that i pay for you should be listening to me, you asked me 10 times and tried to convince me i was drinking, and i told you i wasn't so whats wrong with you, everything is being recorded should i sue you for harassement.lol he got it after that, he was trying to punk me around because i was a teen.

basically, the guy i got into the accident with wanted to get the $2000 from me, and get my insurance company to fix his car, keep the $2000 in his pocket, and as proof of me bribing him, luckly God worked in my favour and i disagreed to all his plans and money deal, and i only had slight increase in insurance as a result.

i found all this out from our mutual friend who really felt i was being screwed with so he told me everything at the end, after that day i kinda had a hard spot for cops. Not all, but makes you think what kind of people can become cops. I had just gotten accepted in humber police acadamy, when i later left after one 2 weeks being in the program after all this happened.

Thanks for the concern dude, yes like most people i have been through my share of crap too, maybe a bit too much.

but thats life i guess.

Yup, that’s the day I learned no matter how BORN of a driver I am. lol I am still like everyone else on the road, in risk of getting royally screwed in an accident by someone else.

since then its been a real wake up call, over the years I made the habit of checking my blind spots, using mirrors as parallel defensive driving mechanism, basically following every rule in the drivers ed book, and damm it DOES work, I have avoided two accidents behind me and one in the front over the past 6 years.

Even then one day I had two stupid people, one in front and one behind. I was driving a SUV, the chick in front of me is reading a book while waiting for a green light, as it turns green I wait 10 seconds before I horn her, (I was trying not to be rude, boy was I wrong, I wanted to rape her after what happened. lol), anyways, I horn, she moves, and she is gone, im about to step on the gas, a jack off looking down at a newspaper while doing 40kmh rams my mothers then escalade from the back, and a subwoofer comes flying from the rear smacking me on the rear of my head. Lol I almost got pawned and knocked the *** out.

I know this is bad, but I got soooo pissed I got out the car and I went crazy with the N word, turned out the guy who hit me was black. lol but he was cool about it he could see I was stressed, and guess what it was my final exam I was getting late for, seeing the guy was old, I let him go, the escalade got damaged, but he got it worse, anyways, moral of the story its dangerous out there.

Ps:If you freaks (women) are on here stop it: I like those hot freaks that follow me for twenty minutes on weekends in their coupes and keep staring even when I try to ditch them, lol. But yea that’s not the point, I just wanted to mention this that there might be an odd chance this will happen to you as well, happened to me twice already from nov till now, but these chicks are not cougars or your sweet hearts with nice sports cars, they are an emerging organized crime group all over the world, apparently hot chicks pick up guys and get them drunk or whatever and when you wake up your kidneys are missing, it’s a very lucrative body parts crime apparently more lucrative then cocaine. Read about it and be safe.

yea sorry about that, i just wanted to get that off my chest. Sick and tired off paying my insurance, what gets me,is that most of the reasons for the accidents and tickets were just bad luck, just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
