Anyone know how much it is to install an Air Conditioner in a CX?

Easy, call Honda and ask for a part on AC. And take that price and take away about 30 to 40% and you can expect a used one from that price. Or even lower.

Used maybe 400, wild guess. Never ever in my life would I think about buying something like that from Honda or even asking for a price.

Best time to buy an A/C unit (used) would be in the winter time. Junk yards are probably asking much more for them now.

I don't know why people wouldn't call dealer for a quote. Yes it is extremely expensive but that gives you a bracket of what the most expensive price is, then you just work your way back and take some % off their price.

I think it is easy, fast and most accurate. If you want to guess that is.

The last time I inquired, when I was looking at a new '97 ITR, yes, six year ago, they were asking $1,800 to install it at the dealer. I don't think there was a difference between Acura and Honda for A/C. This was 6 years ago. These days, almost every car the dealer sells comes with A/C, so the prices could vary.

So, it looks like you are looking at $1,000 (used) to $2,000 (new including taxes).
