Hey I was just wandering whats the average price to repair the rust on the back fenders of a HB. I just want to see if it's worth buying a car with some rust. Thanx

well when i purchased my civic 92 hb dx
$1900 mint interior, underbody sprayed, stuff like that
but back two fenders were rusted, so they were taken off, new ones were put on and whole car painted again, with minor dings and scartchs also removed.. for $1000 flat..

so i m thinkin ur in that range..

well if u want to just have the quarters cut out and have new plates welded in and colour matched....its about 250 per side....soabout 500$ depending on shop i guess but its about 500$

Aight thats cool, im thinking of buyin a DX and maybe go for the 1000$ deal to make the whole body look the same, but maybe ill wait till next spring

well the 500$ jobs i've seen are perfect....tehy match ur paint perfect....it all depends on place u go painting ur whoel car for 1000...won't be a very high quality paint job...might get over spray and so on...

Only reason i can get it for $1000
is that my dad is a mechanic and the body shop guy, is a good friend of ours and said he will do it for us at that price..
but he said for another person would cost closer to $2k
