Angry Helppp...just blew my motor:(

wussup people,
i just blew my motor of my 96 EJ civic (4 door)
my oil pump failed and i burnt a bearing.
if anyone has any suggestions on where i can find a new motor for a good price please let me know.
ive had the car for about a year now and spent roughly $4,000 on it so i dont really want to get rid of it. it has tein springz, tokico shockz, 4 apexi strut bars, lower tie bars, DC headerz, DC hi-flo cat, JDM black housing headlights, 8000k HID kit, exedy stage1 clutch, AEM cold air intake and black'd out tail lights.

I got a spare D series sitting in my garage
Its complete
Only thing is, its a OBD1.
180k on it. ran perfect before my swap i did, no oil burning or anything

check out the classifieds, or a bunch of other places (I know someone who bought one from standard autowreckers with a warranty, not a horrible option)...

but D series engines (specially the non-vtec ones) are pretty common...

i'm guessing you're looking for a d series? tigerjapanese is the cheapest i've seen. a lot of people bad mouth them but as long as you know what you're looking for you'll be fine. we always use them for motors at the shop and haven't had a problem yet.

sorry for the loss, but if u paid 4000 for the whole car with all those stuff then i am not suprised the motor went out that soon

the worst thing is if u only have one car then u r fxcked up coz u can't drive to work

if u want a stock d16y7 engine u can get everything fixed for 1000 dollars

i have a OBC1 DOHC ZC engine with low km if u want, it's faster than all SOHC engines
