hey guys,
my 2000 Cx hatch trunk got jammed today...

well...when i bought the car, the trunk lever always felt like it was gonna go...sometimes when i open my trunk, once i close it, i have to manually push the lever back to close position---not that the trunk didnt close if i dint do that, i just did it for peace of mind...today when i opened my trunk and closed it, i heard a click like it closed, but the trunk door was half closed and half open..
oh and btw, i do not have a trunk release latch beside the driver seat, this is basic, i can only open the trunk with my key..so therefore, i tried to open the trunk to close it properly and I can see the key unlocking or moving the latch, but for some reason, its not releasing the door...
i tried going in from the inside by folding down my seats..but i cant seem to find where the latch is inside, its sealed with vinyl....

anyone else had this problem before?

anyone know how to release it from the inside?
