Here's the senerio:

i have a friend who is stupid.
he has a 00 acura el
lost the stock alarm remote and cant find the spare
doesnt wanna open the car cuz he is scared of setting factory alarm off.
even if it does go off he doesnt kno how to turn it off (IDIOT)lol

now here is my question.

say he uses the key to open the door will the alarm still go off or will it not activate since he's using the key???

if that doesnt work

can he plug in a different ecu to atleast start the car?? (say for example the si ecu)??? cuz acura wants him to bring the car to them so they can reprogram and all other bullshit the stock alarm???

now because the car has anti'theft which means without disabling the alarm the car wont start how can it be bypassed??.

he also wants to install a compustar does anyone have any links???
