K IM BUYIN THE CAR TOMMOROW.. HOW WOULD I DRIVE IT HOME WITHOUT A LISCENSE PLATE..

i hjave no idea what to do never bought used private before..

do i haev to get the liscense plate then call insurance.. do i drive without a liscense plate to my house??

If you are really doing it by the book. You should head to the ministry after you sign over the registration and pick up a 15 day travel permit. You should then also advise your insurance company that you are using a 15 day travel permit...

If you are getting real plates drive it straight to the nearest ministry and pick up your plates and pay your road tax.... put the plate on in the parking lot...

you gotta call insurance first because the car has to be insured and you have to give the ministry your policy number for the 10-day permit. Also, a lot of places require emissions and safety cert. before giving you the permit so you will need those. Once you get the 10-day on it go back and get it registered.

Call CAA and get it towed home.....but take a sprkplug wire off first or something else, so the car won't start.
