I got an 80,000 BTU propane heater in mine, standard 2 door size uninsulated, gets really warm after about 20 mins but sometimes the fumes get really strong and i gotta open the door for fear of dying. I hear a 220v electric construction heater works really well too.

if your gunna heat a garage you have to have it insulated or you'll need a very powerful heater to throw your money away with, a friend (the guy who i made a post of a while back who has very bad luck with his prelude) of mine who always just drops by and likes to stand in the garage to drink beer also installes gas fireplaces and hooked up a 80 000 btu natural gas heater he got from a customer that just told him to get rid of it... its a 2 car single door garage, and it gets too hot in there some times... keep in mind tho, if you have your daily driver in a heated place its gunna rot a lot faster..
