Kinnda hard?.......Try almost impossible to get to.....unless.....
1. you take the whole dash out so you can get to the screws from behind
or...
2. you have really small hands and can twist them into wierd positions without getting them cramped up.

PULOVR : just didnt wanna discourage the fellow.
prophecy if u can get away with not touching or doing anything to it then just leave it alone.
mine has a crack on the side and i just left it, its just too much work. car will still run even if its cracked anyways.

there's 9 screws holding that piece on, yes you heard me right, NINE SCREWS!!! Damnit man my friggin spoiler is held on with 6, and here's this thing with NINE!! Its insane, dont even try taking it off unless you take out the dash, TRUST ME, you NEED to take out the dash to get it off properly, or you WILL break the screw mounts, then the damn things gonna rattle like there's no tomorrow and you'll go insane. So yeah, you need to take out the entire dash to get that stupid little piece of plastic off to paint it or whatever.....BUT you dont need to take that off to get your deck out, the deck is not attached to that piece, its held in by its own little sheet metal box frame, and you usually just have to put two flathead screwdrivers on either side of the deck and lift up these little pins that are at either side, and while you're doing that, pull the deck outwards towards you.....it should come out pretty easily that way.
