Good Idea, Bad Idea

Is it a bad idea to remove the inner wheel liner?... I want to drop my car a little more up front in the summer without rubbing on that liner... I'm just worried about rust and other problems that may occur if I do it.

If you have a CAI where the filer is located behind the liner, then you may suck water up and the filter will definitly get ruined.

Other than that, you can expect rust to form quicker than with the liner, but regular washing and rust proofing can possibly prevent this.

My view is if you have to remove the liner, you're going too low. Good luck with it, I like the slammed look as much as the next guy, but it's just not practical for daily driving.

Its gonna get hella messy in the winter and when it rains in the springs with all the dirt flying up in there, but if you wanna tuck, guess thats the price you pay lol.

they are fine to remove but when you do you'll notice a ridge of metal just waiting to cut your tire to shreds when you further drop it .... have fun
