moon roof good idea or bad idea?
is it a good idea for me to get a moon roof because i really want one but my car doesn't have one and i've been hearing that if i put one in that the body and the frame of the car will get weakend is that true?

if the car wasnt desgined with one then it dont have the added structural rigidity thats needed...which is the main reason alot of them leak
but if your car is just an all round daily driver you know grocery store duties then its alright, wont harm much in terms of structure...I had 2 cars with aftermarket sunroofs and I didnt feel anything compromised and its always nice to have some open roof fresh air!

I have one, it leaked like a bitch, but that was cuz the seal they used was garbage...was a spongy foam and it rotted... horrible..
so i rebuilt it with a special tape sealent used to seal windows of pressurised cabins in airplanes... hasnet leaked a dropp in 2 years now... sometimes you just gotta do things yourself to have it done right
