E-testing body kitted/lowered cars
Greetings from TPC :P Anyone know any good places around the Richmond Hill area that can e-test lowered/kitted cars? I drive a show car so i'm having issues finding a place with extended ramps or inground dynos..
Richmond hill
thornhill
maple
aurora
etc
(Not scarborough, car is a cop magnet dont wanna go to far)
around the surrounding area that can do this on the spot. thanks
Frank

hahah scarborough is actually far more lenient to modified cars because cops here have been used it to it for decades. its the other regions like york, aurora and richmondhill cops that have a problems because they dont want the tuner croud in their town which is mostly rich old white people.

just tell them to do a 2 speed idle test, you don't have to go onto the dyno for that. if they ask, just tell them your car is too low!
they do the usual gas cap check, and exhaust check, then they're stick the probe in and rev ur car to about 2400-2500 revs for bout 2 minutes and thats it!
I do that every time, and yes its legal, as long as the shop puts in your car is too low in their logs
good luck, cheers

Sheppard & Warden, there is a Sunoco with a service centre on the Northwest corner. They have an inground e-test dyno and I used to go there when I lived in the area years ago.
Last time I drove past, they were still there.
