help.. emission test for lowered cars

help.. emission test for lowered cars

where to go? perfer in the westend.
some on told me even some in ground machines will scratch the front lip when going up.

anyone. ??

take a couple 2-3ft. long 2x4's with ya..

if they haven't figured that one out yet they're idiots..i've seen tow trucks get two lowered cars on the flatbed w/o any scratching at all..

i just went to a local shop for mine.... and they probably scratched the front bumper but who cares its already got 100's of scratches.... thats why they put bumpers on cars

When I went with my car, they tested it @ idle. The car was on level ground. They told me that they do the same with AWD cars. Never had to drive it onto the machine.

macdriver, that's wicked... my assclown of a tester wouldn't do that... I told him to do it, and he said he couldn't. He can forget my business from now on LOL j/k - he makes no money from e-tests I don't think...

ya i'm pretty sure you could take your bumper off if you're extreemly concerned... but also make sure the machine isn't too high cuz you might scrape the back... i didn't have a prob, the active green and ross i went to was like 1ft off the ground maybe... but just when the car shifts it grabs at the rollers a bit, i've heard of ppl scratching their lips as the car jerks...
