That has nothing to do with language or origin.

Driving school instructors do not "pass" drivers or issue driver's licenses, MTO examiners do.

thanks

Maybe this thread should be about lazy AND impatient drivers putting others at risk?

Expecting others to run amber or red lights is unreasonable. Why should they risk a ticket and/or collision in doing so just because you won't leave for work just a few minutes earlier?

Or maybe it should be about IGNORANT drivers?! Not all the intersections have turning signals, when the light turns amber you are supposed to proceed with caution, if you are incapable of doing so you shouldn't be driving. If you like to nap on your way to work you should be taking the bus.

There should only be one car in a typical intersection waiting to make a left turn, and maybe 2 at most in the large intersections. If a car is standing still behind the white line when that light goes amber, that car legally cannot proceed through.

As for the cars that ARE already in the intersection waiting to turn left, you can't expect them to proceed on the amber until they are in fact satisfied that oncoming traffic is indeed coming to a stop. Given the number of amber and red light runners these days, it would be stupid to do otherwise.
