what are your hobbies now? You may still be into cars, but have picked up new and more current ones as you grow...so lets hear them. Whether it be gardening, woodworking, Home Theatre, antiques, you name it

watch me ride my bicycle to meets in the summer

if it's not the car for me, it's something around the house. i just like building and fixing things whatever they happen to be. you can never be bored because there is always somethin you can do around the house (yes, even new houses)

Never really got into the scene, but always had buddies who were. I just live through them vicariously, only here to learn more about car mechanics/tech.
My speed addiction never comes out on the road, prefer going XC or downhill on my squishy MTB and hitting 65k. Camping, and screwing around with my mountain bike and moped.
Other than that its just sports, or thumb sports (XBOX is bad!!).

As I get older I start to look back at the whole car scene thing and the money I spent. Just yesterday I was looking at all my bills, and to tell you the truth I would have never done most things if I had the choice. But its too late now! so I gotta enjoy it while I have it

problem with cars is mods/improvments almost always reduce the value along with normal mileage, wear, tear etc.
benefit/advantage with houses, it is one of the only investments you can make that will more then likely help you to make money. "mods/improvments" almost always help to increase value.
i find myself still liking my civic because it is fun to drive, but i want to step up to something with more prestige and keep the civic as a weekend/winter car. im itching to buy a lexus is250/350

Hobbies are important. I used to paint and bike. I consider myself a handy type of guy. Last year we built a garden with unit pavers, this year, I am gonna try to build a barbeque with left over stones.

I don't think i've ever been in the car "scene" even thought i spent years building my car. Throughout the whole time period though i also enjoyed other activities like hiking, biking and photography. Now that im done with the build, my car is just transportation, albiet really hot looking transportation
