Differences between CX, DX, EX, etc.???
Sorry for the newbie question, I just bought a '96 Civic CX Special edition, I was just wondering what the differences between the different Civic models was or is, can anyone explain?
As well, the car I just bought is a Special Edition. I'm guessing that has to do with the fact that there is A/C, a tach., factory tinted windows, and a spoiler. Can someone tell me what the SE entails.
Thanks,
JC

CX, DX, EX in Canada all share the same motor... they differ in power options only. CX would be the lowest trim and EX would be the highest of the 3. Your "SE" is just a marketing ploy Honda has been using for the last 15 years or so... the Special Editions usually have little things added, like you mentioned AC, tint, spoiler, or in some other SE models keyless entry, sunroof, tach, etc. etc...
