Differences Between EG Civics CX/DX???

Hey, I'm helping my friend decide which EG Civic HB to buy and I really need help determining the differences between the CX and the DX trims.
I know that the DX is higher and the CX is basically the base model. I want to know the detailed differences such as A/C, Power Steering, Power Windows/locks, Engine, Body Mouldings/Lips etc...?????

What's best to gut out and drop a B16B in? please help!

But Al looks good and you look like ***!!!!

At the end of the day Al can invest more into speed - all the money in the world will never make a 4th gen look good.

Both of these models are battling for the basement as far as trim level. Either would be great choices for a motor swap, just make sure the motor is sound.

My CX came with nothing except AC - which I had put in cause I was living in Nevada (AC since removed)

No power anything.

When did I ever prefer to be on Club Si?? I have never said anything about that, so you should think before putting words into my mouth.

I never knew that these 3 were playing around, im just trying to stick up for the 4th geners that put alot of money and time into there cars to make it look nice like myself and then hear a comment like that coming at me, how would you or anyone else feel or react to it.

Bah... I resent that comment.. My car looks wicked with a trophy on it.. even with that big T bone dent on the pass side.

But I agree with Happy about the CX/DX difference... There really isn't much of a difference, but the CX should be lighter since it's the base model especially when it has no power options.

nervous? hehe i don't think so kid.....
all that is being said to you is lighten' up.... relax a lil....have some fun... enjoy life
that being said.... who cares if someone doesn't like the way a 4th gen looks??? it's a car...and just cuz someone has a preference towards on generation to another doesn't mean it's a personal slight against you

Buy a CX and add what you want later...

It will be a couple bux cheaper if you intend to replace almost everything with aftermarket stuff later on...

All you boys stop your hollerin'...

true true i guess, i'll try not to take **** so personal and cause such a disaster on here. I have alot of reasons to back me up on that comment I made, don't want to get into it too much but if i see you again and you want to know why i said that i will gladly explain the reason for it. sorry if i caused any harm to anyone on here.

Anyway back to topic, it depends on the year of the 5th gens b/c the weight differences vary threw the years.
92-93 dx - 2178 lbs
92-93 cx - 2094 lbs
84 lbs difference

94-95 dx - 2178 lbs
94-95 cx - 2108 lbs
70 lbs difference

Not much of a difference if you ask me, wont make that much of a difference performance wise.

Bah! Not to worry... once you get to know us a little better you'll realize not much harm is ever meant in any statement thrown around.
