Taken from ConsumerGuide.com (American Site, their EX is our Si):

1993: A notchback Civic Coupe joined the other two bodies for '93, in midrange DX and upscale EX trim, and a passenger-side airbag was available in the EX as part of an option group.

1994: A passenger-side airbag went into all Civics for '94, and antilock braking became available on additional models. The LX gained 14-inch tires, while DX Civics stayed with 13-inch.

1995: With a complete redesign awaiting the 1996 model year, the carryover Civics went to dealerships without further change.

There arent any real significant changes, the most I can see are the dashes 92-93 almost all have black while 94-95 have grey (majority of darker colours follow that pattern) I also believe that the 94-95 had the small cutouts in the bumper coloured matched while the 92-93 didnt (but that could be a model thing).

Si Hatches only existed in 92-93 (rear disks!, cruise, sunroof)

CXs and DXs handles and rear lisence plate molding aren't colour matches. Also CXs have body mouldings as options, the earlier ones may not have power steering (its an option, my friends cx doesnt have it) AC was an option on all. Basically if you want a lightweight no frills cheap hatch, go for a CX. You want a fully loaded one? 92-93 Si's. Personally I'd go with the Si

Thats about all I think I know, hopefully someone else will be able to fill in the gaps.

This part is almost correct Greg. The hatches all had color matched plate holders as the hatch gate and plate holder are one piece. The DX coupe and LX sedan however had black plate holders.

Si - D16Z6 SOHC VTEC 125hp
Dx- D15B7 SOHC ~103hp
Cx- ????? SOHC ~70hp

Si had colour matched mirrors and door handles, and a nicer interior. Leather wrapped steering wheel among other things.

I've heard from different people that the canadian CX has the same engine as the dx but just less options on it. Anyone know whats the scoop on the engines?
