they're gonna lose a lot of people cause of this "time off".

markham in motion should be scooping up some of their peeps.

Im not sure how many people they will lose? But I think "Markham in Motion" Might bring people in just because they are confused!!! Same weekend, same venue, people just might not even know the difference until they get into the fairgrounds? Only time will tell.

I live near the Markham fair grounds....and when the DK show comes to town...I stay FAR AWAY!!!

SO many ppl getting busted for mods...speeding...anything they can find.....

To me it's not worth the hassle of being pulled over just because my car is lowered, etc.

But that is just my opinion and these types of shows are not my cup of tea anyways...

Hope the show comes back next year for you guys...I know alot of ppl enjoy it.

Markham in Motion is a car show put on by Gary Wallace who owns speedorama-going to be a tuner show Im guessing, it's the same weekend as Darknights usually, July 23 I think, Darknights wont be happening this year, not sure why.

they're not having darknights because they are moving to a new location in order to have more space for the cars and such. apparently the fairgrounds was not large enough to hold the events anymore and darknights should resume in 2007. they say its going to be the biggest one ever...at least from wut i have heard/read

Mandie is correct... Gary Wallace booked the weekend at the fairgrounds when Darknights did not book it!!!! Yes it will be a Tuner Show.... Gary has been trying to do 2 shows for years.... This way Speedorama will be more classic & hot rod and MIM will be a more Tuner Type show. Im sure you will see some hotrods there but the Barrie Street Nationals is the same weekend and thats the biggest hotrod show for the whole summer.

If you want to know why there is no Darknights go to

www.darknightsnationals.com

they have explanation posted
