Question DarkNights

I was talking to a friend of mine in Ottawa and we got to talking about cars. He told me the best thing to do would be to visit "Dark Knights Nationals", but couldn't give me any information on it. I did a search, and found their page, but it isn't updated yet. Is there any info. on the 'net? or could you guys tell me a bit about it?

Their webmaster, Dave aka striderx, should be able to tell you. He posts here just about every day.

Darknights 2002 will be July 13 - 14 at the Markham Fairground
admission cost, parking and and open hours should be the same as last year's, i don't know the cost, maybe someone who went last year should know.
the page is being worked on as we speak, but with Autotech coming up there's just no time to get the innovative website all updated, strider's working on it.

The cost way to high last year it was 10 for parking and like 18 for admission the year before i belive it was like half that so hopefully they will bring the price down for this year.

I should clarify: when do they release the dates for Darknights? I knew when this year's dates were, but I'm more curious as to when the dates of next's years event will be released. Jan, Feb, March 2003? The shi--y thing at work is that we have to book our summer holidays almost a year in advance (not sure why... stupid policy). I've missed the Darknights event last year, and I'm gonna miss it again this year. So, I'm determined to make it next year!... road trip babie!

oh, oops, my bad, i read it wrong... i'm not sure, but i can find out , but i know that dates for darknights 2002 was decided well before the new year, they didn't release any dates until a couple months ago... all the dates for the Innovative Season have already been set up.

it takes a *lot* of serious planning for these things...

I can only imagine.... definitely a lot of work to be completed well in advance. I assume that this year's show is barely over, and plans are being made for the following year.

yep yep, the dates are July 13-14th
visit www.innovativeseries.com for both Darknights and innovative series track events @ Toronto Motorsports Park (formly Cayuga.) If you've never been to darknights...all i can suggest is CAR POOL!
take that extra bit of cash saved for food/drinks during the show. its pure outdoor located @ markham fair grounds. if you've never been to DKN i'd suggest hitting up Canadian Autotech this weekend for a feel of it. Hope to see all you guys there. remember to visit the Hybrid booth (#3813)
