Sorry to hear about your car getting smooshed! But it's a good thing that the shop is paying for the damages and a rental car too!!

They're taking responsibility for what they did instead of trying to pull some "It was dented when you gave it to us!" BS!

sorry to hear about the damage.... i remember a while back... probably like 2 years now... when i went to get my exhust fixed... this kid picks up my keys and walks to my car.... he does not look much older then 16 but i assume if the managers know he's getting the car he must know what he's doing... anyways he stalled it like 3 times before actually moving anywhere so i'm like do you want me to drive it in....

so when i got it in and such i told the manager... just let me drive it out....

It's either that, or go to court and get sued.

I'd expect them to pay for all labor on your muffler install .

Do the club a favour........what is the name of the shop?

Theres bound to be few members going in to get exhaust work done soon, and could you have a clear conscience if they went to he same shop you did, and the same thing happened? I wouldn't want that on my mind.

Let me get the facts out.. again

The shop is JPG Exhaust on Speers Rd & Dorval in Oakville.

Anyways.. I went there after purchasing my Replica Mugen Twin Loop from TCC's GB and I went to get it installed @ JPG. They backed my car into a pole... and they sent my car to Exclusive Car Care around back. That place is a scam artist. They just painted over the damaged bumper and made little attempt to repair it EXCEPT for using body filler. They tried to make it look new but it wasn't.

The quarter panel wasn't repaired properly and still had the edges pushed in.. .. and my subwoofer in the trunk actually made the entire rear quarter panel and bumper rattle.. even with the SLIGHTEST bass from the woofer... all in all.. a **** *** job. DO NOT GO TO EXCLUSIVE CAR CARE!

Anyways.. I went back to JPG to say that my car was not repaired properly... and they said that's too bad cuz I signed off @ Exclusive saying that the job was done to my satisfaction.. well.. ****-be-gone.. I don't know dick about body repairs so I had no idea at the time I picked up the "repaired" car that the car was repaired properly.

I went to Honda and they said the job was done poorly and repaired the rest of the damage for me.. out of my pocket.. I paid $1417.71 for the remainder repairs.. and $390 for the car rental in the mean time.

JPG Exhaust REFUSED to pay for the $1417.71 + $390 that the remainder of the repairs had costed me. They refused to give me their insurance company so I could claim this from them. So I paid ~$1800 out of my pocket and I won't be able to get it back. I paid $1800 for damages I didn't cause.

So all in all... DO NOT GO TO JPG EXHAUST cuz they'll **** you when they crash your car.. they'll send you around back so EXCLUSIVE CAR CARE (scam artist) can fix your car with body filler.

Done.
