I think this is only true for the 96 model year cause in 97-98 the CX with the G package came with power steering. To the best of my knowledge all 99-00 CXs have power steering.

Well, I finally brought the car home today. Will probably be at the meet with it on Wednesday. 98 cx hatch in silver with just over 64,000km and 5 spd.

I like my hatch, i dont mind that it doesnt have any power options, im lazy but opening the windows manually doesnt bother me too much. I'm trying to get rid of my car right now, yes that does mean its For SALE..........Its a 98 CX w/ 117,xxxKm's, and its in close to mint condition engine and bidy wize, obviously it has a couple chips here and there from miniscule flying debris that everyone gets, It was freshly painted about 3 years ago and the bumpers were painted 6 months ago as well..........there is no rust and is always kept clean. It is lowered w/ HP Motorsport Coilovers, also have full set of stock suspension for swap out during winter, 16"wheels w/ new toyos,and winter tires and steelies, has weapon r intake and a fireball style muffler, these are the only mods on the otherwise stock engine, also comes w/ alarm and upgraded stereo system, now for the downside, it IS an automatic transmission which i guess wont matter in the long run if ur gonna swap out the engine, and I bought the car w/ a salvaged title, It was fixed and runs like new, you can contact me for any more information @ yourpaesan_68@hotmail.com ... asking price is 9,000 OBO, will comromise just make an offer!!!
