Anyone Know Of The Best 92 Si Mods?

Looking to do a few mods. Nothing to big like engine rebuild/turbo or that. Just looking for a few parts to change to beef it up a tiny bit.

I was looking at getting

a)cold air intake
b)aftermarket 2.5 headers
c) chipped ecu

anyone know of anything else, or a good place to get a chipped ecu?

any info helps. thanks!

lower it

making a stock si fast isn't worth the effort with small goods like that

none of them are really going to do anything to the car

What so funny about it? If you have it put it on and leave the car alone.

Honestly, don't waste your time modding a 92 unless the car is in good shape. Work on fixing the body/structure properly. Replace Ball joints, tie rods, bushing, wheel bearing, bushing, etc.. Things that actually will make the car drive better and make it safe..

Otherwise you'll just end up like the rest of those hondas on the side of the highway with 17s slammed and the driver side tire bent out sideways because the ball joint popped out.

Ok, take it easy Gumbo. 95% of EG Civics out there are falling apart so you can't blame me for being considerate of yours and other motorists safety.

If you read my post properly it says " don't waste your time modding a 92 UNLESS the car is in good shape." KEY word, UNLESS!

So before you get a hard-on for me, please take the time to properly read posts and think before you type.

Good luck...

how do you know everything is fine? you a mechanic?

Either way.. dont bother modifiying the engine, i'd work on suspension and wheel modifications only. If you want more power do a swap or turbo.

I think you have the problem. You asked for opinions and you were given them. Because you didn't like it you pretty much attacked back. You also mention that he hasn't seen your car to make comments................. none of us have seen your car, yet here you are asking for suggestions.

In the future, I suggest you take the suggestions with a grain of salt and not so personally.

We are here to help, but if you are going to be nasty about it, no one will bother.

Thanks

well codie it seems like you got more then enough info to get you started, and obviously you know what you are doing, like you said you got lowering kit already etc.

if you are still not clear about things you can search performance section and get more info in detail.

good luck with your project
