anyone know the best place to get an engine swap?
anyways, does anybody know a good place to get an engine swap for a reasonable price? anyways i was talking to one shop and they quoted me for 4500 for a b16a2 with installation (forget the name but they do the majority of swaps in toronto). anyways i got a 99 dx hatchback and am thinking of a b16a2 swap but unless anyone else has any suggestions?
i was thinking of the b18c, but i hear they are pretty darn expensive. b18b? anyone know a shop that does the work to frankenstein the b18b with like the head of a b16a or b18c?

KS-R, since he's got your attention already 
, would you be willing to source a motor for me, for a finders fee of course. I would pick it up where ever it sits in Ontario (GTA and south). I need a 00-01 base Integra complete swap, the more to it, the better. This is for around April '03, so you have lots of time, just giving you a heads up. It's going into my 98 Civic LX for a turbo application later in the year. You can e-mail me at bbarbulo@hotmail.com to discuss details. I will do the install, since I want to do the clutch and polish the engine & tranny before it all goes in. Thanks.

Saw one on another board for $3500... Not surehow complete it was. Check it out yourself... www.torontostreetracing.com No need for finder fee here. Help yourself.

Thanks, but $3500 for a complete LS motor is too much...that much buys a 99-00 B16A that I have a source for, but he deals with only VTEC engines. Thanks for looking though KS-R. I'll prolly just get a front cut from a friend for $3500 if I can't find anything else.

Thanks KS-R, that's really cheap for a GSR swap. I wouldn't buy something like that anyways - too cheap for a GSR, so I imagine there are probs. So....any chance you could get a 00-01 BASE Integra swap, or do you not have contacts at wreckers. I pretty much need someone who has the contacts that will call him as soon as a car arrives, so he has dibs on any of the parts. Thanks KS-R!
