I honestly cannot understand what you wish to convey.

So, drink and drive is bad, we understand that. If someone promised to pay you back but did not so do, which is also bad. Yes, we understand that, too.

So borrowing 5 bucks or 100 bucks, or even 10,000 dollars and not pay back is bad. As a principle, it is like saying stealing 1 penny is the same as stealing 10,000 dollars, regardless the amount, stealing is stealing.

I understand both senarios, but fail to see how these two can be linked together.

Let me take a stab at this analogy...

So the cop is like a friend that lent out money.

Lender/Borrower scenario:
If the friend that lent out money asks for it back, and the borrower said "it's only 5 bucks" and refused to repay, then the lender will slap him and demand it back.

Cop/Driver scenario:
If the cop who pulled over a G2 driver asks how much he had to drink, and the guy said "it's only one beer, who cares" and refused to obey the law, then the cop will slap him and issue him a ticket

Now I have a headache.

although i agree with most of you guys here, the person should receive a punishment for his actions , maybe some jail time to think about it

I also have to blame the passengers , in my opinion they are responsible for this too , they are all adults and they made the decision to get in the car of a drunk driver , they made the decision of not wearing seat belts.

We are not talking about minors or kids , the people that die (rip) could of prevented this by not getting into the car.

I know these people are dead and they pay their mistake with their lives , however i still think that it is not fair to blame the driver 100% , he did not force anyone to get in his car.

In the past i used to take a cab before i got in a drunk drivers car because i m not willing to exposed my life to save a few bucks

I think the reason the make/model of the car matters because when people hear the woed street racing they most likely think Honda. And that ruins it for a lot of tuners. What I don`t understand is why people just don`t have common sense. We`ve all opened up our cars a little when we`re alone or cruising with buddies. But driving like an idiot is a totally different thing. What pisses me off is the junk box cars (mostly civics and integras) with tin can exhausts go barrelling through the local timmie`s parking lot at 6000rpm in first gear. Are they trying to be cool. If they think their car is that fast, bring it to the track we`ll see how fast it really is. If it`s suppose to be a show car let`s see how it does at a car show. Anyways I,ve rambled off topic so...
