7th Gen Civic gas requirement.
Apparently for the non V-tec 1.7L.
While I was at the dealer Sat., I learned that these new motors require ONLY the regular grade gas, and specifically Sunoco 87.
Sunoco has the lowest sulphur content, of all gas companies (Sunoco is also Pioneer gas FYI). The sulphur is what the Canadian market gets for the colder climate, and it contributes to rapidly destroying catalytic converters, o2 sensors and spark plugs.
Apparently, only, and only Sunoco 87 should be used in these motors, and nothing else.
In California, where the gas mixture is drastically different, spark plugs last the *life* of the car, where as here we have them replaced in the same motor, every 3 years. An interesting note I thought.
Especially considering the new "wider" band 0 - 5 volt o2s for ULEVs are used, I wouldn't want to be replacing it (it appears that there are atleast two in use in this motor). Anybody priced out one of these?

What do you do for Petro-Can? I used to work at one, and b/c of the Tactrol additive, I tend to use it the most...then Shell, finally Sunoco. Once I boost, it will be Sunoco Ultra 94 all the way.
