Convert 4 bolts to 5 bolts??

Hi,

I have a 2003 Civic Sport Sedan..

Currently has 4 bolts to mount wheels..

Most of the wheels I like are in 5 bolt pattern.. Was wondering if one can convert having 4-bolts to 5?? What do I change?? How much would it cost roughly??

Thanks!

If I remember correctly from when I had my 03 Civic, you will need base model RSX parts. Hubs, brakes, suspension, etc. I dont the the exact details, but it is possible using RSX parts.

Sorry, not 100% sure. Try searching on honda-tech or civicforums.

You can find them at many local places or ebay ...and no they will not compromise safety, they are made from aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum. They will probably run you about $500 for the set but it may be worth it if you don't want to do a lot of work!

don't listen to my above advice, if your going to do it, do it right, now with wheel adapters.

Wheel adapters are actually stronger than your OEM hub because they range in thickness from 1" to 2" which will also give you a sick offset as well

I would personally go with wheel adaptors. Because as DumbasSi said. Youll have to change everything. Im not too sure about the suspension. But the brakes, hubs,... everything. It may end up costing in excess of $1000 if you go with Type-S or Type-R stuff. In good condition. Unless you get seized up unrebuilt **** from a mangled rsx or ITR at the local Scrap yard.
