Angel eyes better than stock???

I love the look of the angel eye headlights but I've heard that they suck at actually lighting the road at night. I don't know if that's true but half of my commute is an hour on country roads, I've got the stock lights set up with some powerful motorcycle bulbs I had in my shop and they work well. So does anybody out there have angel eye lights that work better than stock for a 92-95 Civic? What brand, what bulbs?
Thanks!

You mean 2000 and late! Well I still love that mean raptor eye look of projectors, but this is my commuting car and I need good lights.

The black housed you talk about, are those stock jdm?

i dont know about stock jdm, but they are "jdm"... if you're just using them for regular commuting, then just clean your current lights with that blue magic polish, throw in some hids (35w is good enough) and youll be set....

Is the blue magic polish for glass or plastic? I have glass.

Alex, the blue magic stuff is for eks and on

egs have glass lens which should not be polished the same way, nor should there be a reason for it.

Op, i had the same issue with my past two egs, honestly, dont bother with projectors. The quality of the lens is garbage and it scatters the light beam with not much possitive affect. As mentioned above, get some hids and you will be very happy. That was my solution and i never regretted doing it.

I really appreciate learning from all your experiences!

I've got to put some pictures of my Civic on the site, because I'm sure I have more stickers on my car than anybody else in this, or any other club.
I have 4 TCC stickers and my latest is a BIG windshield sticker that says "CIVIC NATION", taken from the tv ad a long time ago. I really love my hatch, 500,842 kms and counting.

Hahaha, proof that if you take care of it, it keeps kicking. And if you have any more questions, dont hesitate to ask.

yup i agree with PurpleStuff! led, angle or halo's in my opinion are a big no no on civics. use stock head lights and if you want use housing and go grab some HID's you will be much happier
