new engine swap trannsmission/clutch trouble

Basicly a new engine has been installed in my car, Everything was going well. As I went to take it for my first test drive, I took it around the block (gears shifting nicely) and brought it home. Around the corner from my house, I went to shift gears and found myself just revving up the RPM. I can shift into gear, but all that happens is the RPM rev up as if it were in neutral. I bled the clutch and made sure there was no air bubbles etc, basically looked over everything, the shifter linkage and all components seem to be connected and in working order. If anybody can give me any ideas on what it could be from knowledge or similar experience then it would be much appreciated. Thanks

the clutch was not installed correctly and/or has taken a dump. basically the clutch is not at all connected to the engine. time to pull it all apart again I suspect.

can you elaborate if at all possible? Do you mean it's pretty much required to take it all out again and disconnect the tranny and replace the clutch?

Happened to me after some work was done. Popped it back in and all was good.
