I have tried to look for a LSD tranny and cant seem to find one that is not part of an Engine. That the first problem i am not sure where i can find one just by its self. I have gotten mixed review on the application of an LSD on a B16 and there seems to be no middle ground. I am looking to buy one this summer and have no information or advice that is not B.S.

Please respond only if you have done the same swap or have prudent info on it. Thanx a lot for any help at all.

Are you considering aftermarket LSD's? Or do you need a new tranny as well and figure you'll kill two birds with one stone?

I am looking just for the LSD i have a tranny. I have a stock dry cable tranny. I was thinking of getting a whole new LSD tranny, after market or not. Preferably a jdm one.
I am not sure where to locate a good dealer or person that has one. Thanx .

what kind if cable tranny do you have? if a ys1 a hydro tranny lsd will go in to it but you need to trim some fins in the case I know there is a write up on honda-tech dunno if im aloud to say that here too late now

Yes its possible, find out what your bearing sizes are, then order an OBX LSD with the proper bearing size for a b16.

Stay as far away from stock LSD trannies as possible because 1. They are expensive and 2. anything over 200whp will blow them up.

B.S. I make 225 to the wheels on my stock LSD tranny. No problems for 4 years strong.,
