Do i need a new flywheel for d15b to d16z6 conversion?
I am going to swap out my d15b engine for a d16z6. Build it and prep it for boost.
I will be ordering a new clutch, and i just wanted to know if the stock d15b flywheel will be sufficient or should i get just the combo clutch kit with a 8.5lb flywheel
What transmission is the long geared one for D series?

all you need to do is resurface the old one. you could buy a light one but for boost you don't really wanna do that anyway. at the most you'd want is to take the stock one and have it taken down 2-3 pounds.

and an si tranny (s40 i think) is the short geared tranny. otherwise a cx, dx or pretty much any other you'd find would be a long geared tranny. so basically what you have (d15b) is the long geared one
