Violating the restrictions on the G2 can result in suspension.
"The Ontario Driver's Handbook states that drivers holding G1, G2, M1 or M2 licences must follow the specific rules for their class of licence. If you violate any of the graduated licensing conditions for your class of licence, your licence will be suspended for 30 days. This suspension takes effect from the time you surrender your licence on or after the date of the suspension. You can lose your licence for up to two years if you fail to hand over your licence."

and so ya'll know it was the smell of alcohol that got me booked not my driving i know i was perfectly fine.
#3 I was asking wat u guys think about me getting the cop for not following protocol.
Cmon he pulls me over only takes my Ownership and Insurance, checks ALL MY PASSENGERS ID, and FORGETS TO ASK FOR MINE! thats the only thing that mite give me a slight edge on this thing.

Yeah 12 hours is nothing compared to the 30 days and re-instatment process.
Go to court, plead that you have learned your lesson about drinking and driving. Maybe get some where with that, but I doubt you will get the suspension overturned.

gsrmatt does bring great advice. Any ticket or charge can be worth fighting, especially if you are a young driver with higher insurance rates. You don't want to mess with your future. Get a court date and get the disclosure. You can use it to build your defence against the charge. If you don't feel confident defending yourself, there are manyticket fighters out there. I recenly used one to get out of a careless driving ticket.
