PLOW hit car in parking lot

plow hit car in a private parking lot (library) ...cops called, they said nothing can be done....isnt it the citys fault? arent they responsible for driver negligence? who do i call to get the car repaired, not going through insurance

more than likely public works if it was a public library...contact the library and see who does their snow removal and go from there

thi is really hard my buddy got into an accident wiht another person in a mall parking lot and the cops cant interfer at all because it private property , you might have to go through alot of channels to find out who to talk to

cop wrote nothing on the police report also... just the names of the 2 drivers and where it happened...nothing else...

that is true, when accidents happen on private property, its often 50/50 fault unless there were witnesses. Pretty stupid in the case of parking lots.
