If you knew how an Insurance Company worked you would actually have something intelligent to say other than, " you work for theives" ... Get a clue .... and a brain ....

i would feel awesome knowing that insuranceman gets a company car fully paid for out of my pocket... pending he works for my insurance company of course... but its the over priced insurance that provides the profits to allow that

But you're a litigation adjustor, right? So you drive up and down SWO (south-western ontario) and all around. Fawking right I'd demand a company car too!! Fawk if I'd put that many clicks on my car or even worse put the car at risk on the road. Even when someone from work asks me to do a coffee run I'm like hmph....

Did you know that in the US if you have medical insurance it is tax deductible, and the rates my aunt pays for a family of 5, is about the rate we pay for the coverage that is not covered by OHIP.

So where are my tax dollars going??

BTW, we don't want me to talk about politics, but let me tell you once I have my designation, I'm saying "see you later Canada" I am finished with them stealing from my pocket.

And the ****ing sponsorship scandal, during the years in question I alone paid approximately $50,000 in taxes...and for what, to line the pockets of the Liberal "friendlies" Kiss my *** theives, cushy pension collecting mother ****ers
yeah, yeah.... that's what I'm saying!! but it's gonna be tough going to the states in the next few years. I'm gonna wait till there is better opportunity - ie. economic boom.

i could prolly do my MBA in a year or two if going part time

anyways, it's not like the rates would change if Insuranceman didn't have the company car That's peanuts guys!! I mean, you don't verbally assault ppl who drive those Bell Canada trucks and blame THEM for $100/month phone bills, right?? The $300/month they pay for the lease of that vehicle in the fleet is... what like 2 days of someone's wage. As if that will make a difference in premiums.

bell actually owns it's fleet (from what I'm told) also bell does it's own insurance posted a bond with the government and everything .... they just hire an insurance company to take care of the paper work and management of the plan.

Yes, thank you, I do drive from Mississauga to Niagara Falls on a Daily basis, and some times as far as woodstock on the 403 .... I obviously have 2 cars, as you can see in my pic, which i have insurance on, which I pay for out of my own pocket, WITHOUT a discount ......

you clearly missed the point... I'm just saying, you don't look at other co's who own/lease a fleet and say "Gee, look at those big spenders! wasting money like that". No, you accept that they have the vehicles in order to best allow their employees to service the customers. I'm just saying, if part of your job is to drive around all day you should be offered a vehicle regardless of who you work for.

I'm sure he works hard and deserves a company car with all the perks. Good for him.

That was not the point of my exasperation...

I'm with you Anthony, I'm just saying we can't blame Insuranceman alone The problem is so much greater...

And it's not about how hard he works, but rather the nature of the work... involving travel and all.

I understand that I am the voice of the other side, and for that, I will be called names and told that I am a criminal ... I can understand your feelings, and your anger, but I'm doing a job, not trying to change your minds ....

And audiophilia I see the point of your argument, I do, I think we should just agree to disagree on certain topics...

Just one...

I, too, have taken positions opposite to the 'popular view', trying to convince a large number of people convinced otherwise. I understand the frustration of defending of what one considers the truth. Also, my mother taught me not to believe everything I read and hear. And, I don't. I have, by nature, a suspicious mind.

However, we shall have to agree to disagree re the insurance industry. Again, I am a capitalist and love to see healthy profits. Moreover, I applaud your efforts in the rebuttal of the overwhelming amount of detrimental information. You have a difficult 'position' to defend. You do it with vigour -- I always appreciate a worthy adversary.

Personally, I think you are just bitter that you have to drive a Malibu rather than the magnificent automobile pictured below...

Well, if I had a BMW as a daily driver I know I would not be working at an Insurance Company ... and yes, my Eclipse is no BMW, but its a fun weekend racer .....

I appreciate your views on my "position" and yes, I do believe in the industry as many others don't ... I understand that ...

You seem to be one of the intelligent ones, who debates the topics....
