4 times that i recall

1) evening- just parked outside my house, talking on the cell phone.

2) puling into courthouse

3) parking car at the hospital to drop off my father

4) heading towards niagra on the QEW from the 403

i could have missed a few, but these are the ones i am pretty sure nothing on my car was illegal ( exhaust, tints, lights etc )

nly time I've been pulled over was when I did something wrong ....and there was that time where it was a standard check to see if the driver is drunk r.i.d.e. program things... and there was the time they were looking for someone (think it was a fugitive) ... but hey no tickets unless I was pulled over in a radar trap in which case I deserved it ...

got pulled over for nothing last night, I was doing speed limit right beside the cop and he pulled behind me and pulled me over. He just wanted all my info and wanted to check my record and that's it. Glad he never gave me any tickets. This is just the start, they hassled me a lot last summer for doing jack.

i've only been pulled over twice but i've been followed countless times. guess they like to run the plates of civics...which is a good thing i guess with all the car thefts going on.

Just do this if you get pulled over while doing nothing wrong. Ask the cop why he pulled you over. Ask him for his badge number. Write the reason and his badge number down. Take your time. Smile at him. Ask him if you can help him. Then call his precinct and complain. If everyone did it every time they got pulled over then random stops would be less frequent. It also takes the wind out of the cops powertrip, which is always fun to watch. Its just too bad most people are scared of cops, they'd be a lot less arrogant if everyone treated them like ****.

And another thing to keep the inexperienced rookie cop in-line is to call them by their real rank.

You don't have to call them "officer or Sir" I think that's reserved for detectives. Calling them that just further fuels thier power trip I think.

The one hook (ceveron) guys are "Constables".

ie "howdy Constable, what can I do for you?"

Unless they are the line Sgt (in which case you got the shift boss)
I would call those guys "hey sarge". (Three ceverons and I think the car says supervisor)

But I'm not a cop rank expert here I'm sure there are other on this board that would know for sure.

*Oh and for the fine cops that monitor this board
Not flaming you guys, just please keep the rookies and power trippers in-line.

Thanks!

I only get pulled over when I do something wrong, and I deserve it. Never been harrassed by any officer of the law.
