I WAS IN COURT TODAY AT 11, I WAS THERE AT 10:45, BUT NO ONE WAS THERE IN THE ROOM TILL 11:30 AND EVERYONE WAS WAITING THERE(COPS, PPL ETC)

AND AS SOON AS JUDGE'S *****ES (DONT KNOW WHAT THEY CALLED) CAME IN (JUDGE WAS STILL NOT THERE AT THAT POINT)...........I WENT UP TO THEM AND COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM BEING LATE, AND TOLD THEM THAT ANY OF US WOULD BE FIRED BY NOW, IF WE ARE 30 MINS LATE FOR OUR JOB..........AND I TOLD HER I CANT STAY HERE ANY LONGER...... I THOUGHT IT WOULD START AT 11, WHICH OBVI IT DIDNT AND I HAVE TEST AT 12, SO I HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.

SHE SAID OH YOU CAN PLIED GUILTY AND WE CAN GET YOU OUT OF HERE FAST, I WAS LIKE HOW ABOUT I AM PAYING THE COURT FEE AND YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE ON TIME......THEN SHE WAS LIKE YOU WANT ANOTHER DATE FOR YOUT TRIAL...I SAID YES

AND NOW I HAVE ANOTHER DATE IN SEP

I WAS SO PISSED OFF, I WANT TO SAY FEW THINGS TO JUDGE BUT SHE WAS SO OLD...............

NOW MY QUESTION IS CAN I COMPLAINT TO ANYONE OR WRITE A COMPLAINT REPORT ABOUT THIS THEM BEING 30 MINS LATE.

ps: I AM STILL MAD ABOUT HOW THIS LAW **** WORKS, HATE EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS AND LAW

there are tons of reasons why a judge or the court itself can start late. i am pretty sure they werent in the back chilling and smoking a blunt and wasting everyone's time.

also when your told to come into court for 11 that doesnt mean your case is going to be heard at 11 it means you are in the same docket as everyone around you at 11 and each docket can reach up to 3 hrs.

You seem to get mad pretty easily, and probably not just about the law but about anything at all.

From your post complaining about an improper muffler ticket...
Have you considered anger management courses to help you deal with your rage and impatience?

In any case, you're complaining because you got stopped for having an exhaust that was too loud. At the time you admitted here that your resonator wasn't on the car, and you probably had a loud aftermarket muffler on the thing as well which just added to the offence. And someone else mentioned that you also had no catalytic converter on the car.

Three strikes right there, and you, an admitted scofflaw, are complaining about how you are treated by the law?

You chose to knowlingly violate the law, and on more than just one occasion. Seeing as you are in fact factually guilty, you could have just paid the ticket, learned a lesson, and the whole matter would have been done with a year ago.

You could have saved yourself today's appearance, and your appearance, and the fine that you could STILL end up paying.

And you wouldn't be posting here today about "how bad things are" for a person who admittedly and knowingly breaks the law, and how they made you wait with a bunch of other scofflaws to be heard in court.

Ummm maybe time is nothing for you…..maybe you have all day for these kind of things and nothing else to do. If I am there before time , I would expect those over paid idiots to be on time……..when it says on my sheet 11 am I would expect them to be there AT 11AM….regardless of my trail starting exactly at 11 or little later (even though my name was on top of the list) AND NO LIST WAS NOT IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, just in case you might wana make that point.

I was there at 10:45 and that judge left the room and I was told by that other lady that they are going for a coffee brake for 10 mins and then I can come back later around that time.

So after waiting there for 30 mins, 11 am was my time that lady came back in the room at 11:30 am……I wonder what they were doing so importante that they were gone for 45 mins……….MAKING OUT maybe.

Complaining, of course I am going to complain about that stupid TICKET, after what I was told that why I am getting ticket.

Clearly these illiterate cops have nothing better to do but to make up their ticket quota for the month, by pulling over a car with after market muffler and telling me that muffler is moving, and there is a smoking coming out of it. Ummm did I miss something……..rubber support that support the clams are there to flex to move, and smoke…..when hot exhaust vapors hit the ice cold temperature they evaporates hence creating the smoke effect. And few more stupid reasons he was trying to tell me.

Sorry but just because they pass the “PHYSICAL” test that will sure make them allegeable enough to be a cop, when they lack common sense and education.

Yes I have no resonator, and yes I have aftermarket muffler. Now just because cop drove behind me for 3-5 secs without any measuring devices thought that its loud doesn’t mean its loud. Having no resonator is nothing illegal, so I don’t know how I am adding on to my offence (in cops eyes).

And about cat, I don’t know where you read that but I always have cat on.

lets throw those 3 strikes out the window, and now I understand perfectly why there is so much BIG crime that these illiterate cops fail to crack down on, because THE LAW IS ALWAYS LATE.

Exactly, I know that everything is legal on the car, and done right and in working order, and yet I some how “violated” the rules, in the eyes of LAW. And just because you are only seeing one side of the story and seeing me as “factually guilty” that is why I would never pay this ticket, and will beat this STUPID LAW, which is consist of idiots.


hey as long as i make that cop come all these times to the court, and waste this stupid systems time, i could care less if i have to pay this ticket at the end. i could have paid it the very first time, but i will just drag this is long as possible now.

well things maybe good for you in this stupid system, but there is no where is says haveing no RES is illegal, or haveing after market muffler is illegal, so i dont know why you keep saying "admittedly" and "knowingly" breaks the law......just because cop thinks my muffler was loud.

its his words against my words in the stupid court room, but obvi his words will count for more, thats why i will have the numbers and facts to make him feel stupid.

them being late is not their problem, should have taken more time out of work or school incase it was prolonged. what if they weren't late but took too long? your gonna cause a rukas and say you have to go? cmon....

fix the problem and you'll stop being pulled over that easy. and you wouldn't have to go through this. when i knew you you still haven't gotten a resonator installed, if your running like that still and still plan on running like that and being hard headed instead of fixing it then have fun getting these tickets. every time a cop pulls you over its written what they pulled you over about, so its just gonna be a domino effect until you fix it.

part of the reason why hondas in general and people get hassled so much is cause of stupid things like this.

The placement of your name on the docket sheet is not necessarily the order in which you are called up.

Having a resonator IS illegal if the absence of resonator causes your car to be unacceptably loud.

These are your words from your other thread from last February...

So you admit your muffler is loud. That's clue one. Others also note that your car is stupid loud. Clue two.

Then you say:

You whine about a "stupid" law because it doesn't let you get away with having a stupid loud exhaust on your car. You admit to having a loud exhaust on your car. You're the problem, not the law.

That "stupid law" is in place because of stupid people who lack the consideration and good sense to minimze ther impact on other people's lives.

Why should anyone have to give up their right to quiet and peaceful enjoyment in their homes so you can be "look-at-me-loud-Johnny" in your ****box? Why should you be allowed to disrupt other people's lives just because you want to be "loud"?

As for court timing, there is nothing you can do about them returning later than said. It happens all the time for many reasons. What is more important is that YOU are there in time.

gurv....honestly that is no reason for you not to get a ticket going forward. loud exhaust + civic + young driver like yourself = trouble with cops.

i would suggest not to pursue this 'late arrival' issue anywhere else cuz it might get you into more trouble..you never know. just fix up the car to make sure it doesnt happen again.

well i will fix it once i have some money, and i was kind of ticked when i posted and i guess it didnt come out right.

yes i know my muffler is loud, i dont lie and i dont need to hide anything.......

i just posted about what happened today, the whole story, and i was just wondering if there is something that can be done.

i mean 110 dollar ticket is no biggy, but i just want to hear it from cops side of things basically, and want to tell my side.......

so we will see what happens. i always thought that they gave me 11 am time and it will be done by 11:30 at most, since my name was first on the list.........but i didnt know that it could take longer and name order doesnt matter, so next time i will keep that in mind.

as i mentioned earlier, all you guy made some good points which I will keep in mind for future references. And its all a learning experience.

The justice system doesn't work on the clock. I think you should have postponed it to a day where you could have more time.

Bro, its a fix-it ticket. Its not going to harm your license. Everyone and his mom knows about your exhaust and its loud raspiness and it doesn't sound pleasing. That why you probably got ticket..

In either case, go in September and give it a go. Create reasonable doubt on the officer's case and hopefully you don't pay.

honestly, if i was a cop. i would give stupid ricers a hard time too.

yea sure it isnt fair to all the ricers out there, but typically i noticed that ricers drive around like morons, have stupid loud exhausts that just bother other people and are generally pretty rude while driving (give finger easily, wont let ppl in, etc..)

and i'd say a high percentage of this forum is these typical immature morons. definately not saying all or anything like that
