suspension question

Quick question.
I'm doing an engine swap (ITR) and have the opportunity to get the ENTIRE front end of the car for cheap. (brakes, suspension, the whole nine yards).

Now in the spring, i was planning on doing my suspension. It's a daily driver, 99 civic si, coupe. MAYBE lower an inch or so all around. Not crazy low.
I've read koni yellows and GC coil overs is an awesome set up.

How different is it from a full ITR suspension? Better or worse?

Thanks

GC coilover sleeves will be a little bumpy. If you want a smooth ride go for either full coilovers or good spring/strut setup. for the price of GC you could just get some tein or eibach springs which will ride very smooth and better than ground controls. only downside is that you will be stuck with that height.

I'm looking for something adjustable (i don't want to go too low when I lower it) but it is a daily driver. I need it to be a decent ride in terms of comfort, but just a bit more aggressive handling than stock..

I like the H&R Race springs or the Neuspeed Race springs..
More than enough drop and great ride !

Shock, only Koni.

Are you getting the ITR rear suspension as well? If the front is a 5 bolt you'll want to convert the rear as well.

^^ just get fully threaded coilovers. Most have damper adjustability and the ride comfort will be much better than any shocks matched with ground controls.
Got to drive a jetta with koni yellows and that felt the best from all the suspension setups I've driven/rode in. But it all comes down to how much you are willing to pay.

Well, I've got time to decide what to go with. Suspension wont be until the spring, but with the engine swap i'm doing, I'm definitely going to want better brakes and suspension.
Which brings me to my next question. To do a disk brake conversion (if i can get the parts off this itr), would I have to swap the suspension too?

If it helps... I have Skunk2 Pro S Full coilovers... ride height is perfect, but the ride is retardily stiff!

I want Tein for my rex.

im on H&R sports, with Koni orange.
the H&R's are a bit too soft for me, but i like a stiff setup.
drop is 1.5f and 1.75r if i remember correctly.

i suggest u go with koni yellows and gc's. i havnt heard a bad thing about em!

but note that for that price, you can get cheap coilovers.
