Just a note; The upper ball joints are not replaceable on their own. You have to replace the whole upper control arm.

Also try rockauto.com Just picked up a set of upper control arms for my civic from them for $120 shipped, for both.

Ah, that sounds familiar... haha man there were so many things wrong I couldn't get a grasp of every detail the mech said.

For both as in both sides? or both arm and joint?

I really have a weak background with cars ><

^Did they give you a writen list of everything the car needs?

It was for both sides. The ball joint is manufactured and integrated into the upper control arm.

Some aftermarket/adjustable upper control arms have removable ball joints, which is handy down the road. But I know the stock ball joints are part of the upper control arm. They are very easy to replace. Just two bolts and the ball joint nut.

^you mean the pipe after the resonator? (looks like a long round muffler under the middle of the car) Does that include replacing the rear muffler as well or just the pipe between the resonator and rear muffler?

If the resonator is the 3rd piece after the muffler(being first) than yes, it's the piece that connects the muffler and the resonator

^Ok, your exhaust system should go as follows (from engine-back):

Exhaust manifold(header), catalytic converter(right after the manifold, looks like a smaller resonator), mid-pipe, resonator(looks like a long round muffler under the center of the car), rear pipe, then rear muffler.

Which part(s) needs to be replaced?

So basically you need a cat-back system then.
