Power Steering- Wheel going crazyyyy

hey guys,
im still having the same issue...I went into the Honda dealership by kennedy and Ellesmere...these guys suggested the 2000 Honda civic power steering never came with a pressure switch....
does anyone know if this is true?
is there a pressure switch in the lines? or on the rack?
or any place it can be located?
the wheel is still moving left and right on its own and going crazy...it even ripped my clock spring.
I tried bleeding the lines and everything.
plz help! I don't mind not having power steering, but i already spent the money on the parts, its too late to turn back.

Well, the rack assembly MUST have a rotory valve assembly of some kind in order to control the amount of fluid and direct it as needed... It wouldn't work otherwise.
Any powersteering pump should have a built in by-pass valve so that the fuid circulates when no fluid is being used/directed by the rotory valve (like when you're driving straight).
Did you have them check the rotoy valve assembly at the base of the steering column where it connects to the rack?

the CX would definately not have a rotory valve in the steering column, and i know when I did the swap, I completely overlooked this. So, now my mission is to find this valve, plug it in and see if it fixes the problem....I have my fingers crossed on this one...hopefully you're right.
what you guys think? the cx is base model, so it wouldnt have come with this in the steering column to begin with right?

^I'm confused by you last post here... Were you saying you think you tried to run PS on a non-PS rack? That's not even possible because how would you hook up the lines?
You do have a PS rack if the lines are connected to it because the lines connect directly to this rotory valve assembly on the rack where the steering column connects to the rack. So you have a rotory valve assembly already (a PS rack).
I'm guessing there is a problem with this rotory valve and or your non-PS steering column is loose or does not fit properly into the rotory valve assembly.
The following link shows the non-PS rack assembly (found standard in a CX): Part Detail
Notice there is nowhere for any PS lines and no rotory valve assembly where the column connects to the rack.

Notice the rotory valve assembly (#19) which is not found on the non-PS rack. And also notice where the lines (#23 and 24) connect to that valve assembly.
When the engine is not running but the key is on, is there excessive loose play when you turn the wheel side to side?

I thought the rotary valve comes with a power steering column...I didnt know it was part of the ps rack..that means I do have it.
So is there any difference in the ps column and non power?
cuz I haven't swapped my non ps column, all I've done is swapped the non power rack to ps rack and hooked up the hoses, added the pump and belt. I bled the lines before adding ps fluid to the resivour.
