My front ,annd rear strut ,and shock blown

Well, I have a post below about my suspension, and my matter have gone from bad to worse. My front left shock, and rear right strut are blown. So now I have no choice then replace my suspension. I have to purchase a suspension in the next few days, so can you guys please direct me to where is a good place in canada to order online?

I was thinking of buying the tokico blues, and the eibach sport kit? Im not going to race the car, and I use my car for daily driving, so im looking for something that will give me a comfortable ride. I did some research, and found that I shoulndt lower my car lower then 1 if im looking for a comfy ride. Can you guys help me out?

how did you confirm if your shocks are actually blown? second...what model and what year car is it?

you can either get a set of used replacement OEM shocks or go after market. aftermarket shocks that is....you can still use your original springs on them if you dont want to go lower.

btw...im selling a set of four tokico illumina shocks for 92-00 civics...check my advert or PM.

I went to my mechanic and thats what he told me. I took it too him because I noticed that my rear wheel was right up against the wheel well, and I heard load popping noises coming from the front when I was pulling out of my drive way. for factory shocks, springs, struts, mounting kit, they want over 700.00 just for the parts. The parts have 1 year warranty. Id rather buy tokico, becasue I found out that the are lifetime warranty. My civic is a 2003 si. anyway, ill go with you guys advice on parts, and were to buy them.

thanks for the advice. The suspension sal is selling is for a 92-00 civics. My civic is a 03 si. The tokico ,and the tein`s as you recommended, are they comfortable for city driving? Im looking for something that rides like factory, or factory replacement. if this means I shouldnt lower my car by 1 to get a comfortable ride? then I guess I will have to. Anyway, I have to buy a suspension Asap, so can anyomre members please help me out with what to get, and where to buy for good prices?

tokico blue are oem replacements aren't they? i'd go with koni reds over tokico blues. koni red + tein s techs will be perfectly fine. they won't be bumpy at all and it'll be a nice drop.

hey i didnt know you u had an 03....no problem. as for tokicos...i only have positive things to say....great product but overall experience also depends upon what kind of springs you have on them. oem springs will also fit on them or u can have lowering ones.

local store prices are usually very high.....plus there are none online sellers in canada with whom you can find a bargain. if you dont wanna spend alot of money.....either buy used (check 7th gen forum for classifieds) or go the ebay route.

I have looked on ebay, but @ the time i coulndt find parts for my year and make.I guess ill keep trying. I called jrp as bwek suggested, and i talked to steve, and he refferred me to a place in my hometown. I called advice on what to purchase and the guy on the phone suggested to by hp`s, and tein springs. The price was with taxes 740.00. Is this a fair price in your opinion? and is this a decent setup? I dont want to buy junk either, so thats why im looking for all the advice i can get.

contact option jdm....they should be able to help you out. if you are looking for a cheap suspension...do yourself a favor...dont. never cheap out on your suspension.

750 is not too bad a price for a set of good brand name shocks and springs.....next level is a full coilover setup which averages around a 1000 dollars and beyond.

on ebay...check

jdmwerks
kuruma motoring

im sure there are tons more

I finally found shocks, springs, and struts, and I had them installed today. I then took the car out for a test drive, and thank god the car runs smooth and without the horrible bumpy ride. I called Jrp- as mentioned by the members, and I explained to them what I was looking for, and they informed me to buy hp`s, and tein springs, and to contact unauthorized-performance in my hometown which I did, and they advised me to buy Hp`s, and tein springs also. So i did, and so far im very happy. So I would like to personally thank all the members who helped me, and I would also like to thank Jrp for there advice, and direction, and I would also like to thank the guys over at unauthorized performance.
