Btw, did u guys have to pay customs and/or duties on the items you purchase from shox.com? Cause I heard from one of my friends that a bill came in the mail for him telling him he owes dhl for $150~ for customs. Can someone verify this? Thanks

yes, i paid customs fees - with DHL they were very minor. i think it was $45.

regarding the ITR rear swaybar - on an EK you'll need a subframe reinforcement kit - beaks makes one, and ASR makes one. for an EK you should get the ASR brace, as the EK rear subframe is weaker than the EG's.

Does the subframe kit substitute as a lower control bar? (im not sure if thats what its called, im talking about the bar that interconnects each side of the LCAs below the car in the middle of the body). And about coilovers, which brand would you recommend? im still debating between both. im looking for something that would work well on the track and the streets, but not too uncomfortable on the streets as this is my one and only daily driver. (haha)

nope, that's a separate bar. but it's debatable whether that bar really does anything anyway. if you get the ASR brace, you won't need any more bracing under there.

the koni/GC setup are 'coilovers' and will be more comfortable than tein, for sure - tein makes a good product, but their shock valving is not intended for, nor rides well on, urban roads. koni - and bilstein - are german companies, where the roads are not perfect; and i think there is an element of this in their valving design, because i find their products are much more sympathetic to urban (read: bumpy) roads.

LOL. i dunno, i have two young kids so i am generally very busy. i've never really thought about going to one, but i guess it would be fun to hang out and talk cars. especially since my wife gets tired of me talking cars all the time.

not necessary, but it will improve steering feel quite a bit.
