I have pro kit on my 08 and it's alright. I got it aligned back to within stock specs. My shocks are still fine after 9 mths.

What wax? *grins* no wax. Seriously, I am a detailers worst nightmare. I have people come up to the car at meets saying how shiney she is.. no wax.. muuuhhaaa. Good old wash and hand dry, a bit of detailer, and that's it.

We will be starting up some nice cruises with 8th gens and such soon, come on out and take some pics with us.

You can see by the responses , each setup has different results. There is no real Right answer, just an answer that best suits your needs.

mmmm... pictures. I need to replace a lens that just broke, grrrr...

ive been lowered on the pro kit for a week now and i couldnt be happier. Tires are still mint (winters). Still need to go for my alignment waiting for the springs to settle. Maybe your wear was due to under inflation or just a bad set of tires lol but in any case 18's are huge lol I cant wait to throw my new set of 17"s on!!! and as for more road noise id have to disagree, if anything you get less road noise, a stiffer ride and great handling!!! So for the late reply bro, been busy with exams

To get that kind of wear I would think they would be under inflated (for the centre) and the side wear would also be caused by under inflation (with camber) your riding on the side walls and not the centre of the tires.

Check the TSB recall for the rear camber, I remember seeing that exact tire wear due to that particular recall.. I will see if I can dig it up.

Newmarket is where I'm at, but I'm a meet *****. I've arrange some cruises for 8th gen population, and have been to the east side meets on occasion. There are little meets every weekend in your area.

Just becoming more active with this site, the other forum I am on is 8thcivic.com, we've got Niagara cruises, Barrie cruises, and other track days all coming up soon.

Thanks josh! Yea man, it is really weird. The rear tires were the ones that were mainly effected. I didn't do the alignment when I put the rims on. Maybe that's what did it. Pressure seemed fine, but It could of been under inflated or the tires could of been crap. I bought 2 pairs of the Nankang NS II Ultra Performance Tires. So lets see how these work out. I just dont want the same thing happening to these tires as it did with the other ones. Thats why i wanted to take all the precautions.

Hey that's awesome man! I'm all in with meets. I love meeting new faces and cruising in the summer cant wait! Oh by the way, I found that recall on the rear camber. I printed of the actual Honda recall bulletin that they have up at the shop lol. I found a PDF i don't know how :P Ahm, the only thing is, I have my winter tires, which were brand new on since about november, and their is absoluetly no ware at all. The tires still look good from the inside and out. Maybe when I get them taken off ill see difference, but from what I can see right now, their is nothing wrong with them. So I am not sure if the camber arms are the bad ones.

I use a guy named Johnny from Image. I have also used the same salesmen, Moe for all my cars. I took the TSB in when I had my 06 and they told me that the car still had to have its original tires on it for them to honour the TSB. Image is currently without a Service Manager, so it might be easier to get warranty work done.

Ahh okay, I will talk to my buddy and see what he says. But do you think the rear arms did that to my tires? But my stock winter tires on the stock rims are okay... Isn't it odd? Wouldn't all tires I put on the car be ruined then? My originals are fine also.
